Many animals find kennels and catteries extremely stressful: they are put in a cage and don’t receive the one on one love and attention that they are used to at home. Very Important Pets' animal boarding service is a modern day alternative to kennels. It is home from home for your pets!
Very Important Pets offers:
- Dog boarding
- Small mammal boarding (caged pets)
- Parrot and bird boarding
Your pets will live in the home of an experienced professional pet minder who will provide love and care for your pets and treat them as if they were one of their own. Your pet’s stay will be fun, exciting and, most importantly, your pet will be in a safe and happy environment.
VIPs’ carers are pet owners and animal lovers, and they all have extensive experience in looking after all types of pets; so you can leave your pet with us knowing that they are in safe hands.
Very Important Pets will:
- follow your pet’s normal daily routine with feeding, exercise, medication, and play time and they will receive the very best care and attention possible.
- select the best person to look after your pet based on your pet's needs.
- arrange a preliminary meeting with you and your carer before you decide to go ahead with any booking.
- decide with you whether to board your pet with other pets or on his own.
Health & food guidelines
- Proof of full vaccination is required. An important note for all dog owners: Kennel Cough or infectious Bronchitis is a very contagious disease of the respiratory system that can affect dogs of all ages. We recommend that all dogs are vaccinated at least 7 days before using our dog boarding or dog walking services as we cannot take on any dogs that have contracted Kennel Cough due to the risks of infecting other dogs. You must take along your dog's vaccination certificate when you meet your dog's carer to prove all vaccinations are up to date.
- It is normally your responsibility to drop off and pick up your pet on the first and last day of each booking, if you do require a pick up or drop off service this can be arranged at an additional cost.
- You must de flea and worm your dog or cat before each booking.
- All pet foods and medications are to be provided by the client.
- Please take enough food to last the duration of your pet's stay, a feeding bowl, some bedding, a special toy of his, medication if necessary, a lead and collar, any special treats, and written notes on his routine.
- For small Mammal or Bird/Parrot Boarding services you must supply the pet’s cage, food and any toys, treats or special cleaning products.
- VIPs charges a daily rate not a nightly rate and has a minimum booking period of two days. All bookings where the pet stays one night will be charged as two days.
