Very Important Pets always strives to offer excellent services at great prices, with a focus on training results and fun for you and your dog. Here at Very Important Pets we simply love dogs and are willing to go the extra mile to make you a satisfied customer. We can tailor-make every training session to suit you and your dog!

Private Dog Training Sessions

• First session – £70.00 (1.5 hour Assessment)
• Each additional session £50.00 (1 Hour)
• Dog training package £160.00 (4 training sessions at clients home)

Puppy Training: learn proper puppy care, how to start your pup on the road to good canine behaviour, socialization techniques, and more!

Basic Obedience: teach commands like sit, stay, down, come, heel, and leave it.

Problem Behaviour Assessment and Modification: Stop unwanted behaviours like barking, chewing, digging, jumping, eliminating indoors, etc.

Off lead Foundation: lays foundation for off lead obedience training including long distance commands.

Advanced Obedience: off lead training including long distance come command and obedience under heavy distraction.

Puppy School

• Beginners class - Puppy Obedience and Socialisation Course - £85.00 (4 week course) for puppies 2 to 6 months of age.
• Beginners class - Puppy Obedience and Socialisation Course (4 week course) including a one to one pre class 1 hour home visit £105.00

Puppy Training and Socialisation Class: Our Puppy beginner’s class is the intro class for puppies for the ages between 2 – 5 months old (up to 6 months for small breeds). To start our puppy training classes, your puppy’s vaccinations must be up to-date and we ask that you bring along your vaccination certificate with you to class.

The puppy training class with Very Important Pets uses positive reinforcement training methods and covers three broad topics: PUPPY SOCIALISATION (other puppies, people, kids, noises, textures etc) PUPPY PROBLEMS (biting, mouthing, jumping, house training etc) and PUPPY MANNERS (sit, down, come, lead walking etc). We don’t just train your puppy we teach you! Class size is limited to ensure adequate attention for each participant.

Adolescent Class

• A more advanced dog Obedience course - (4 week course) £85.00 for puppies over 6 months of age.

Adolescent Class: This course will run on a Tuesday evening starting at 8.15pm for 4 weeks for an hour each session. It is designed for dogs aged 6 months upward that have already taken a puppy training class at VIPs or elsewhere and already have solid ‘sit’ ‘down’ and ‘stand’ signals. There will be no off lead play as this class is more geared for training than socialization.

The classes will cover the following:

• Getting you and your dog working off-lead with heel work which will improve your dogs etiquette with things like going through doorways and crossing the road.
• Helping you to get more solid stay and recall commands.
• Using commands/signals from a distance.

We will also teach some tricks for fun!

Advanced dog training (Coming soon)

The advanced dog training program is designed for dogs that already have a basic level of obedience.

This will be outdoor training, and will run for 4 weeks.
